Happy New Year.. the year 2004's been only a few days old.. 9days to be exact. To summarise the few weeks that had past...
Christmas was spent at Shirley's friend house with food galore and merry chatting.. later part at Zouk where the great spin miester Carl Cox bring the wild side of the party go-ers to the fullest!!
New Year was a sad story.. where the gathering of old friends saying goodbye to the old year and hello to the New Year. Drinking coffee and tea past New Year wasn't exactly thrilled and fun to begin with but hey.. old friend are old friends.. you dun get to do that everyday.. its once a year kinda of thing.
Prior to that, Val held a small party for me and old colleagues from Starhub. Eric was nice enough to get me a gift. Sigh.. friends.....
Just a few days ago.. i made this year 2004 special.. i won the first race of the year.. well.. not exactly win but i did very well.. above expectations. I came in 4th in the A finals and won RM$300. A personal best
achievement considering Boss is not there to guide and share set-ups. I guess i have went up to another level in R/C car racing. Time to save up and get another engine.. for fear that this engine might not be up
to expectations soon. It has been thru 6 races and its still going strong but an old engine is still an old engine.
