Birthdays!
Bah! humbug.. bugger off! Yes its my birthday 3 days ago, and due to no internet
access, I am unable to rant till now. Thank God for e-15d, which is one of Nong Khai's
dial-up internet provider. If I am staying here, the first thing I will do is to get broadband!

The morning rays shone thru the windows. With half open eyes, I looked around
the room. I felt my way around for my phone. With the phone in my hands, with
my eyes half-open, I stared blankly at the phone in anticipitation for a birthday
greeting. Zlich! No message!

Phone says "You have no new messages!"

Morning was spent at Jeff's, having fellowship and sharing session with Jan (Jeff's friend)
Later part in the early afternoon, we made a trip to Laos (Me, Jeff, Tammy and Jan)

Destination :: Vientiane
Duration :: Less then 4 hours
Happenings:: Zlich! Zero! except for the sharing of Jesus on the tutu, replacing some
Buddha books with our Gospel of John tracts at a book shop, giving some tracts at
Planet Centre and meeting a Laotian who can speak french, russian and english. We
did gave a tract to him. That's all the happenings at Laos. We are just extending our
Thailand visa stay so no need for big events.

Then came the text message that I have been waiting for all day long. Finally she
texted me. I was elated. Frankly I thought she had forgotten about it. I am glad she
remembered. What's better was she is bringing her mother to church. Finally,
answered prayers! Amen! What could be better would be that her mother gets
to recieve Jesus in her life. What happened was there was none of that sort of thing
happening, but I will still continue to pray for her mum's salvation. Wanting to talk
to her later the night, she was having dinner with her mum so she said she will called.
I guess it was too late and no calls came. I am still happy, at least she remembered.

The day ended with KFC dinner at Tescos plus a long overdue haircut. The dinner was
good but the haircut was a disater. Never trust a hairdresser who does not speak your
language! Well it wasnt that bad, at least Tammy manage to salvage it 2 days later.

So there you have it.. another birthday.. the only birthdays that I like is when I am
able to spend the whole day with her and her alone. Just basking in her company and
her fresh scent, talking to her and just be with her. That's my birthday wish. Oh well!

Happy birthday dude..
